Meet some of the people who make this place so special!

Ms. Wanda
Co-Director
I joined the Willow Woods family in 2008. I have 18 years’ experience in child care, and am currently seeking an associate’s degree in Child Growth and Development. My goal at Willow Woods is that we treat each child as a unique individual; we care for each child as a whole, socially, emotionally and physically. Through play, children learn and grow. I strive to create an environment of love, care and equality for all children at Willow Woods.

Ms. Pam
Lead Teacher, 2 year old classroom
Working with children has always been my dream job, and I have been doing it at Willow Woods since 1989. I enjoy watching children grow and learn new things. I believe that all children learn at their own pace through hands-on activities. I bring patience and caring to the classroom to work with each child as a unique individual.

Ms. Sarah
Director
I joined the Willow Woods family as a parent in December 2012, and was elated when I was offered the position of Director in 2014. I am honored to be a part of a Center that does so much to nurture children with a holistic approach. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology, and have worked with children in elementary schools and residential settings. I love being surrounded by the joy of children learning, growing and playing. I believe children bring richness and wonderment to our lives.

Ms. Angela
Lead Teacher, Toddler classroom
I have been at Willow Woods since 1989. I’ve wanted to work with children since taking child development courses while in college. I enjoy watching children learn and grow every day. I believe in providing consistent routines, adhering to regular a schedule, and providing an atmosphere of care that children can trust. I connect with each child with patience, kindness and an open mind. I help them learn through exploration of the world around them, and support them in learning to do things for themselves.

Ms. Debbie
Lead Teacher, 3&4s classroom
I have worked as a preschool teacher for over 27 years. I started working for the Salvation Army Day Care and Preschool at the age of 20. I acquired my CDA in 2001. I have enjoyed working with children and watching them learn and grow. I am married with one grown daughter, and I love to sing! Children are only little once, with minds like little sponges, absorbing vocabulary words and seeing things for the first time. It is so exciting to watch children grow and learn!

Mr. Keith
Willow Woods Chef
I have been with Willow Woods since September 2016. I attended JCCC Culinary Art Program, and have had a wide range of culinary experiences over the years. My grandmother inspired me to become a chef, cooking with her when I was a small boy. I enjoy preparing healthy meals from all four food groups, and do my best here every day. My favorite thing about working at Willow Woods is seeing all the little ones who attend Willow Woods every day and spending time with my coworkers.
